KOHO referral income, fact checked

Can you earn $3,500 a month referring people to KOHO?

Potentially through the separate affiliate program, but not as a promise and not through the ordinary member referral program. Here is the clean breakdown.

Short answerPossible target, not a published guarantee.

The affiliate route can scale. The member referral route has a published total cap.

Affiliate disclosure: Bremo may earn compensation if you open KOHO through the tracked Bremo link on this page. It costs you nothing extra. Approval, referral qualification, commission and income are never guaranteed.

There are two different programs

The exciting income claim only makes sense after separating KOHO's ordinary member referral program from its affiliate program for publishers and creators.

What regular KOHO referrals currently pay

KOHO's member help page currently lists rewards based on the plan chosen by the referred person:

  • $30 when the referred person is not on a paid plan or trial
  • $80 for Essential
  • $90 for Extra
  • $100 for Everything

The referred person must verify their account and make at least one $20 purchase within 30 days. KOHO says rewards are generally credited within seven days after the requirements are met. KOHO also publishes a total member referral earning limit of $1,000.

Bottom line: “Earn $3,500 every month” would be misleading if it described the ordinary member referral program.

The affiliate program is the scalable route

KOHO separately invites influencers, comparison sites and publishers to apply to its affiliate program. Its public page says approved affiliates receive tracking tools and earn commission for new customers. Approval is required.

KOHO's public affiliate page does not state that an affiliate will earn $3,500 a month. It also does not publish a single commission rate that applies to every approved partner. The current amount, validation rules and payment terms shown inside an approved affiliate account control the real calculation.

Calculate the volume behind a $3,500 target

Use the commission amount shown in your approved affiliate account. The result is a planning target, not an income forecast. A “conversion” means a new customer that the program accepts as qualified, not merely a click.

175qualified new customers needed in the month

The $20 value is an example only. Replace it with the current rate shown in your approved affiliate terms.

Example math:

  • At $20 per qualified customer, $3,500 requires 175 qualified customers.
  • At $50 per qualified customer, $3,500 requires 70 qualified customers.
  • At $100 per qualified customer, $3,500 requires 35 qualified customers.

Those examples do not represent KOHO's current rate. They show why creators should work backwards from their own approved terms, qualified conversion rate and audience trust.

How to build referral income responsibly

  1. Apply through the official affiliate page. Do not assume a member referral code is a creator business.
  2. Teach the qualification rules. A useful explanation beats hype and reduces disappointed readers.
  3. Disclose compensation clearly. Put the disclosure beside the link, not behind a vague footer.
  4. Track qualified customers, not clicks. Traffic is not income. A click becomes valuable only when the program validates the customer.
  5. Recheck terms before publishing. Plans, rewards, eligibility and affiliate terms can change.
