MPAC assessments are conducted every 4 years (most recently 2023 cycle). Your assessed value may differ from market value — especially in rapidly appreciating neighbourhoods like Westboro or the Glebe.
Ottawa's tax bill includes the City of Ottawa portion plus the education tax levy (provincial). The combined rate for 2025 residential properties is approximately 1.0–1.02%.
