Calgary's 2025 residential property tax rate is approximately 0.6361% of assessed value. This combines the City of Calgary municipal portion and the provincial education levy. On a $620,000 home, annual property tax is approximately $3,940.
When is Calgary property tax due?
Calgary property tax is due June 30th each year. Late payment incurs a 7% penalty on the unpaid balance. You can also enrol in the TIPP (Tax Instalment Payment Plan) to pay monthly throughout the year and avoid a lump sum.
