One author. Named, and accountable.

Beyond Bremo, Allastair Voss owns and runs Voss Advisory Group (vossadvisory.com), ArtOnly (artonly.io), and Artists Only (artistsonly.io), among other ventures.

Allastair Voss is a pen name. The founder of Bremo writes under it and keeps his legal name off the public site by choice. The accountability does not change: every figure is verified the same way and every mistake lands in the public corrections log.

Bremo does not publish under a house byline or a made-up staff page. Every page on this site traces back to one person, and this page tells you exactly who that is, what he does, and what he is not.

Allastair Voss
Founder and researcher

Amos founded Bremo in Guelph, Ontario in 2026 and still does the research himself. He reads the banks' own offer pages, checks the fine print against what Bremo says, and builds the software that keeps the site's 19,000+ pages current.

He builds Bremo in public. When an offer changes, the page changes. When something on the site breaks, the mistake goes in the public corrections log rather than quietly disappearing. The verification routine is described step by step in the editorial policy, and the business model is spelled out in how we make money.

What Amos is not

Amos is not a licensed financial advisor, financial planner, accountant, or broker, and he holds no financial designations. Nothing on Bremo is personalized financial advice. Bremo documents which offers exist and what their published terms say. Whether any of it fits your situation is a decision only you can make, and for advice about your own finances you should talk to a licensed professional.

What "personally verified" means here

  • Offer amounts and conditions are checked against the bank's or provider's own published terms before they appear on Bremo, not copied from press releases or other blogs.
  • Automated monitors recheck figures across the site every 30 minutes and flag anything that looks wrong for review.
  • When a check fails after publication, the error and the fix are recorded in the corrections log, dated, in plain language.
