Editorial policy

How Bremo works, in writing.

A money site is only as good as its numbers. This page is the standard every Bremo page is held to: where figures come from, how they stay current, and what happens when we get one wrong.

Updated July 18, 2026

The short version

  • Every offer is verified against the bank's or provider's own published terms before it goes live.
  • Pages carry dated stamps so you can see when a figure was last checked.
  • Affiliate links are disclosed. They never change what we say or how we rank anything.
  • Automated monitors recheck figures across the site every 30 minutes.
  • Errors that reach a published page go in the public corrections log.

The policy in full

1

Numbers come from the source

Before a bonus amount, fee, or condition appears on Bremo, it is checked against the bank's or provider's own live terms page. We do not republish press releases, and we do not copy figures from other comparison sites. If the source page and our page disagree, the source page wins and ours gets fixed.

2

Dates are visible

Offer pages carry a dated stamp showing when the information was last checked or updated. Bank offers change constantly, and an undated claim about a bonus is close to worthless. If you find a page whose date looks stale, treat that as our problem, not yours, and tell us.

3

Affiliate links are disclosed and walled off

Bremo earns a commission from some partners when a reader opens an account through our links. Those relationships are disclosed, and they do not buy anything editorial: not a ranking, not a recommendation, not a softer review. The full economics are laid out on how we make money.

4

Machines double-check the humans

Automated monitors sweep the site every 30 minutes rechecking published figures and flagging anything that looks corrupted or out of pattern. This system exists because we learned the hard way: in July 2026 a faulty bulk edit corrupted dollar figures on about 1,600 pages and sat undetected for over a week. The full account is in the corrections log.

5

Mistakes get published, not buried

When an error reaches a live page, fixing it quietly is not enough. Each incident goes in the public corrections log with the date, what was wrong, and what we did about it. The log is permanent. We do not delete entries because they are embarrassing; the embarrassing ones are the point.

6

A named human is responsible

Every page traces back to Allastair Voss, Bremo's founder, who does the research and verification himself. He is not a licensed financial advisor, and no Bremo page is personalized financial advice. We document offers and their published terms; decisions about your own money are yours.
