Submitting this intake does not create a lawyer-client relationship. We act as a legal document preparation service and a referral hub. For complex matters we route you to a vetted lawyer in our directory.

Common questions

Do I need a lawyer to make a valid will?

No. A will is valid as long as it is in writing, signed by you, and witnessed by two adults who are not beneficiaries. Our drafts meet your province's requirements (Ontario Succession Law Reform Act and equivalents).

Will my will be challenged?

Wills are most often challenged when they were drafted under suspicious circumstances or without legal advice. Our With Lawyer Review tier ($449) includes Independent Legal Advice + a signed ILA certificate which makes the will harder to set aside in probate.

How often should I update my will?

After every major life event: marriage (in Ontario, marriage automatically revokes a will), divorce, birth of a child, death of a beneficiary, or significant change in assets. We offer free revisions for 30 days after purchase.

What about my POA and living will?

The Full Estate Kit ($249) bundles all four documents (Will + Continuing POA for Property + POA for Personal Care + Advance Directive). Most people need all four. Drafting them together ensures the language is consistent and your wishes do not conflict across documents.
